Since 1885 “Elevador da Gloria” serves as the most used elevator in the whole city of Lisbon. The service is the connection between the district of Baixa and the entertainment square of Bairro Alto.
The valley station of Elevador da Gloria can be found on the “Praca dos Restauradores”, close to Lisbons tourist information. The summit station offers a wonderful view over the whole city.
