Elevador de Santa Justa is the most popular elevator in Lisbon. The reason for such kind of popularity might be found in its stylish cast iron construction, which indeed has a little bit of a romatic design.
The romantic elevator was built by a pupil of Gustav Eiffel in 1902. At the top of Elevador de Santa Justa is a viewing point and a passage to the upper part of the city.
