Jardim Botanico is known as the green oasis in the centre of the Portuguese capital. The park is a wonderful place to go for a walk, or just to have a recreative rest.
Jardim Botanico exists since 1873. There are a lot of tropic trees, which were brought from former Portuguese colonies. Many little attractions like stairs, ponds, and monuments give the park a languorous and cosy character.
