Cacilheiros are the old ferries on the Tejo river. They are still active as touristical attraction. Children are able to explore a lot of interesting things about Lisbon. The most important route is probably the one from Cais do Sodre to Cacilhas. 500 metres next to the pier is a panorama elevator to the place called “Almada Velha”. Almada Velha is a wonderful observation platform with a restaurant and a great view over the whole area.
