Cinema Lisbon

Category: Lisbon Nightlife – admin – 8:37 am

Foreign, and especially English movies, are shown in the original with Portuguese subtitles. The blockbusters are usually presented in the cinemas of the shopping centers. Cinema tickets are a bit cheaper as in Central European countries.

The best cinema programs of the day can be found in the newspapers “Diario de Noticias” and “Publico”.

If movies are not enough during the stay in Lisbon, Portugals capital offers also a cinema museum in Rua Barata Salgueiro 39. The name of the museum is “Cinemateca” and the entrance is free of charge. Cinemateca offers library and a book shop about the topic cinema. There are two cinema halls with sophisticated movies from Europe.
