Museu Nacional do Traje is the right place for people who are interested in fashion and design. 30.000 exhibits of traditional clothes from different centuries and places Portugals and its former colonies, compose a comprehensive image of the fashion and the design of Portugal and the areas which were influenced by Portuguese culture.
The museum is located in Lumiar, a Northern district of Lisbon, and accommodated in a beautiful palace from the 18th century.
Next to the palace is a wonderful park, which invites to a cosy walk under many old trees.
