The official name of the Lisbon bridge is “Ponte 25 de Abril”.
The impressive construction which looks like the Golden Gate Bridge in San Franscisco, and connects Portugals capital Lisbon with the municipality of Almada.
The bridge has a total lenght of 2,277.64 metres, and was opened on the 6th August 1966.
A platform for trains was added in 1999.
